Relationship Rich

Relationship Coaching

When our lives are- 'Relationship Rich'  we know that we value ourselves and we that value our loved ones, friends, and even acquaintances with full appreciation. Relationships, however, are not always easy; we are all Created so wonderfully unique. Because of this we don't always align with each other Harmoniously. This is bound to happen in all of our relationships from time to time, but, when we are out of alignment with someone(s) on a regular basis, it can cause all kinds of toxicity within our lives. I use the word toxicity because, while it may be an over used word these days, it sure hits home.

When one or more of our relationships are out of alignment the negativity that it produces can overwhelm us and quite often it feels toxic. We can actually feel physical pain from all of those negative emotions. In fact, just like anything else; over time it can fester and manifest into sickness.

The fact that you are here looking for answers shows that you not only have value for yourself, but that you value your relationship(s) as well, no matter what state of affairs they may be in.

I have always been a student of human nature, I love how vastly different we all are. As far back as I can remember, there have been many times throughout my life (even in childhood) where I have been labeled as a peacekeeper. I have always strived to 'keep the peace,' not only within my personal relationships, but in the lives of my loved ones as well whenever I was able to; when there is strife among people I care about I have always done my best to help them work through it.

While it may seem to be unrealistic to avoid strife (conflicting behavior) within our relationships, I certainly have always made an effort to create harmony within any  of the relationships I am a part of. Because of this I have learned some very effective ways to ensure that my life is as 'Relationship Rich' as it can be. I believe my own life/relationship experiences and the many other tools and techniques I have gained through training/certification go a long way toward making me an extremely effective life/relationship coach.

When you are seeking out the help of a Life and or Relationship coach it is so important that you feel comfortable with the person you have chosen to work with. You are the first point of contact as well, meaning that in choosing the person you are working with, you may eventually be introducing one or more of your loved ones into that working relationship. These are all important factors to consider as you are looking for the right kind of help for whatever it is that brings you to this decision in your life.

That being said there are a MULTITUDE of reasons why clients look for help in this area:

Family Ties- Oh that can be a big one can't it? We do not choose the family we are born in to. In some case we Marry into them but, again while we may have chosen that spouse we did not necessarily choose the family connected to him/her. When there is unrest among any of our relationships it can be so very disheartening. I guess there is always that option of turning your back on these relationships and walking away, BUT if you are like me-that is not an option, because that would feel as bad if not worse than trying to find Harmony within that relationship(s). Keep in mind there are cases where walking away may be the only recourse, such as abusive relationships etc. These relationships very often can be mended. Working with a relationship coach can give you the right kind of tools to bring peace and alignment to your relationships. This can be done by the way without the other person(s) even knowing that you are working with a coach. You and or we may end up bringing that person(s) into our sessions, but most often that is not even needed.

Break up/Divorce - This is one of the toughest parts of entering into any kind of a romantic relationship there is. When we enter into this kind of a relationship we know there is risk of heart break. Years ago when I went through the demise of a 10 year relationship, it did not go well for me at all. The kinds of emotions that you feel, and this is especially true if you are the one that for better lack of words-"got dumped", can feel devastating. Family and friends were supportive but, they really didn't understand fully what I was going through and back then there were not many places IF any to turn to. I spent years (way too many) in a very bad place, as I look back on those wasted years pining uselessly, yes uselessly over lost love, it makes me cringe. I have a real heart to help the broken hearted, no one should have to suffer through this kind of loss on their own. This is an opportunity to emerge with real growth. By reaching out for help you can accelerate this process and come out better than you were before!

Me Me Me- ha ha! Yes you absolutely can be out of sync with yourself. In fact no matter why you have come to see me, we will always check in with your self value first and foremost. When they tell you in an airplane to put your mask on first before you help someone else, that stands just as true in our relationships. We are the common denominator in all of our relationships so if we are not willing to take a good look within, it would be very difficult to find alignment in any of our relationships.

Workplace Relationships- Relationships in the workplace can be extremely hard to navigate and when there is someone(s) you don't get along with it can have a very detrimental affect on your well being. This is a very common relationship problem by the way, which only makes sense because again this is not a relationship that you have chosen, and again the personalities of people in the workplace will most often differ so very much. It is a smart move to bring a Life/Relationship coach in, it gives you that secret weapon you need to thrive within you job/career. When you have the ability to get along with all kinds of personality types, not only will you have a better sense of peace within your life, but you can succeed in many other aspects within your field as well.

Personality Disorders- Again, naturally being a student of human behavior, I have delved into the study of personality disorders and find it so very fascinating and to be honest heartbreaking as well. There have been many reasons that led me down this path, and while I am not quick to label (nor do I allow my clients to) a person with a disorder, it is helpful to be mindful of them. We tend to want to throw a label on someone when we don't get along with them, and yes many times a person you may not align with may very well show some or many of the signs associated with a "disorder", it does not necessarily mean they fall into that category. That being said, personality orders are real, and there are ways to live in and or find peace within these relationships most of the time.

Love Is a Human Need

We were Created to connect with one another. Having connections/relationships are a human NEED. Having quality relationships are as vital to us as is air, water and food. That is why we feel so bad when we run into trouble within our very valued relationships. If you are here looking for help to enrich any or all of your relationships, especially if one or more of them are out of balance, you are already taking steps to create great value within. The relationship we have with-SELF is THE most important relationship of them ALL-if you don't value yourself first it WILL show up in all of your relationships. Having great appreciation/value for yourself is not a selfish way to live, in fact, you will discover it is a very unselfish way to live. Once you are in alignment with 'SELF" your life/relationships will follow and will flow harmoniously.
